Adv.Therambil Ramakrishnan, M.L.A (former speaker of kerala) inaugurates the book releasing ceremony of Laloorinu Parayanullathu documentary about laloor, Written by Sathish Kalathil and Scripted by Bhasi Pangil on 29th augest 2013 at Prof.Joseph Mundassery Memorial Auditorium, Thrissur, Kerala Associated with DFMF SHORT FILM FESTIVAL of Digital film makers forum trust.

The copy of 'Laloorinu Parayanullathu' released by Dr.P.V.Krishnan Nair, Secretary, Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi and received by R.Gopalakrishnan, Secretary, Kerala Sahithya Akademi. T.V.Chandramohan, Chairman, Guruvayoor Devaswam Board presided the function. M.S.Jaya I.A.S, District Collector of thrissur was chief guest in the function. K.Radhakrishna, TDA Chairman, Dr.Sister Jesmi (Writer), Kalamandalam Hemalatha (Dancer),  K.Saseedharan, Chairman, Vidyaposhini Publications, T.K.Vasu, Laloor Strike Committee Chairman are participated.

ലാലൂരിനു പറയാനുള്ളത് പറയുന്നു...

                                     LALOOR DUMPING YARD

ഇത് ലാലൂരിന്‍റെ മണ്ണ്. ദുര്‍ഗന്ധത്തെ ഗര്‍ഭം ധരിക്കാന്‍ വിധിക്കപ്പെട്ട്, മാരകരോഗങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പിറവി കൊടുക്കുന്ന മണ്ണ്. ഭരിക്കുന്ന വര്‍ക്കെന്നും വഴക്കാളി കളെ ജന്‍മം കൊടുത്ത മണ്ണ്. അപമാനങ്ങള്‍, അമര്‍ഷങ്ങള്‍, തമസ്ക്ക രണങ്ങള്‍... അങ്ങനെ എന്തെല്ലാം ഏറ്റുവാങ്ങി. കേട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട് ഒരുപാട് തെറിവിളികള്‍. അതിനെല്ലാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളുടെ പഴക്കവുമുണ്ട്.  ഈ മണ്ണ് പേറിയത് ഇവിടത്തെ മക്കളുടെ വിഴുപ്പും വിസര്‍ജ്യവുമല്ല. എല്ലാം അന്യരുടേതായിരുന്നു. ഇവിടെ ഇവര്‍ വെറും ഇരുകാലി മൃഗങ്ങളായി ജീവിക്കുന്നു. ഒരിക്കല്‍ ഇവരുടെ ഉള്ളില്‍ പ്രതിഷേധം പുകഞ്ഞു. നിലനില്‍പ്പിനു വേണ്ടി, ശുദ്ധവായുവിനു വേണ്ടി, ഒരിറ്റു ശുദ്ധജലത്തിനു വേണ്ടി. ലാലൂരില്‍ ജനിച്ചു എന്ന കുറ്റത്തിന് ഒരു ജന്‍മം മുഴുവന്‍ നരകിക്കാന്‍ മനസ്സില്ലായിരുന്നു ലാലൂര്‍കാര്‍ക്ക്. അവര്‍ ശക്തമായി പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചു. പ്രതിഷേധപ്പുകയുടെ ഗന്ധം കേരളമാകെ പരന്നു. ജനാധിപത്യ രാഷ്ട്രത്തിലെ നാറിപ്പഴകിയ ഈ ധ്വംസനത്തെ അന്യനാട്ടുകാര്‍ പോലും തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞു. ജനിച്ച മണ്ണില്‍ ജീവിക്കാനുള്ള ആയിരത്തിലേറെ കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ വീറുറ്റ പോരാട്ടങ്ങള്‍ ലോകം അറിഞ്ഞു തുടങ്ങി.
(This is the soil of Laloor. With its fate to carry foul smell. Spread contagious diseases. This soil gave birth to a lot of fighters against the rulers. Abuse... Fury... Out Casting... So much suffering ...? Have been heard so many abuses... All these are centuries old. The waste deposited here is not their own, it is brought from outside. Once, they felt agony deep inside. For survival… Pure water… Fresh air… For the sin of taking birth at Laloor they were not ready to suffer life long. They furiously resisted. The fume of their resistance spread through the length and breadth of Kerala. The world began to realize the fights of 1000 and more families to live in their native place.) Click to continue
